Work in progress: Age and wear materials on the model are soon to come! High poly model baked onto a low poly model.
Mech design I created for a hard surface project. The prompt was: Scientists are about to mine or harvest the planet Zobzorp for an item that is crucial to survival in space. I came up with this dragon fly inspired design that harvests a glowing liquid known as Luminar Nectar found in caverns filled with luscious vegetation and life. The model is the size of a dragonfly and was meticulously built to appear like the insects living in these caverns. Their wings are made of stained glass which help reflect light throughout the caverns to prompt more vegetation.
